SUMMARY:Writing As Therapy - Address\, Heal\, Create\, Process - By Amy Kaye
DESCRIPTION:For Personal Development Programme bookings at The Novalis Ubuntu Institute please email Blessing Makumbe at blessing@novalis.org.za or telephone 021 797 1857. \nSecond of Six Monday Evening Workshops – The cost listed is for all six evenings. \nAddress\,Heal\,Create\,Process \n\nDo you dream of writing but keep making excuses such as lack of time\, skills or motivation?\nFeeling blocked creatively?\nDo you want to figure out why you keep procrastinating and create a creative routine that works?\nWant to express yourself but can’t find the words or don’t know how to start?\n\nWe all have a story to tell but fear and our inner critic stops us from sharing who we really are. Writing as therapy will help you find out what you want to write\, learn how to unlock memories and document your stories to reflect who you truly are. \nThis course will focus on helping you let go of stories that no longer serve you and will give you tools to both heal yourself and help others heal. \nThis is not a traditional creative writing course in that your writing will not be judged. This course will focus on helping you get unstuck\, unblocked around your creativity\, help you access your stories and connect. You will be left feeling more confident about the kind of stories you want to tell and in your ability to express yourself through writing. \nNo previous writing experience is needed to participate. If you are looking for a creative outlet\, want to dig deeper in a safe and cathartic way or are interested in helping others or yourself through healing then we welcome you to embark on this journey. \n \n  \nAmy Kaye has been involved professionally in the creative arts since she was a child in theatre\, radio and film and is a published writer and poet. She is the founder of Write On! which specialises in helping people unblock themselves creatively\, get past psychological fears\, tell their story and find their voice through writing. \n \nBody & Mind – proud media partners of The Novalis Ubuntu Institute Personal Development Programme.
